MARINA
KASTALSKAYA
Marina Kastalskaya was born in Moscow in 1948. In 1966-1972,
she studied in the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. In 1975,
she joined the USSR Union of Artists.
Marina's personal exhibits include East/West in
the Central House of Artists in Moscow in 1998, Birthday-2000
in A-3 Gallery in Moscow in 1999, exhibits in Le Vall Gallery
in Novosibirsk in 2000 and in the Chernov Gallery in Novosibirsk
in 2003.
Among her most notable group exhibits are 100 Years
of Anna Akhmatova in Moscow and Paris in 1989, Calligraphy
in USSR-USA in New York and San-Francisco in 1990,
Open Door in Woodlands
Art Gallery in London in 1990, Paper Metamorphosis
in The
State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow in 2001,
the
Abstract Art in Russia: The Twentieth Century in
the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg in 2001, Moscow
Abstraction: Second Half of the 20th Century in
the Tretyakov Gallery in 2003, Collage
in Russia: the 20th Century in the Russian Museum

Marina's works are found in the State
Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State
Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, The

private collections in Russia and other countries.
