AZAM
ATAKHANOV
Azam Atakhanov was born in Dushanbe in Tajikistan in 1964.
In 1989, he graduated from the Moscow Stroganov College
of Arts and Industry. He has participated in exhibitions
since 1988. He is member of the Moscow Artists Union. Atakhanov
is associate professor of academic painting in the Moscow
State Stroganov University of Arts and Industry.
Azams works are found in the State Museum of Oriental
Art in Moscow, Russia; the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in
Moscow, Russia; the Republican Museum of Fine Arts in Dushanbe,
Tajikistan; in the Fine Arts Museum of Tyumen, Russia.
